Here's a Christmas wreath that I made the other day. At first, it just had white flowers, but Adam insisted that it needed color, so, I added more and more stuff. I keep going back and forth about whether it is too much or not. :) We'll see, it just might change before it officially goes up.

More Receiving Blankets

Two receiving blankets that I made yesterday. These are so simple - two flannet fabrics, and stitch with a surger stitch around the outside.

Weekend Crafting

This is the flower on the following bag. This was pretty fun to do because the material is patchwork behind the canvas. You cut out the canvas after sewing so that it reveals the flower. This was an idea from a book Emily, Melinda, and Heather gave me for my birthday.
Adam was interested to see if Koda would fit well in the bag. The problem is that it is huge on him - he's actually all the way standing up. If you look closely, you can see his little body and little legs. :)

I have needed a bag forever since all of my YW's stuff is such a pain to carry on Sundays.

This ladybug is from another book from my birthday. It's for a friend from high school who's having a little girl.

Another gift. Obviously, a butterfly. :) I have really enjoyed making all kinds of different stuffed animals. The fun thing about these "bed bugs" is that they also have rattles in them. The idea from the book is that you make a small packet of 6 jingle bells - and when you put it inside of the batting, it sounds like a baby's rattle.

Sunbonnet Sue Finished!

I have finished my Sunbonnet Sue quilt. I took a break from it for a little bit because Adam and I have been so busy with so many things. It feels great to have finished it and I learned a lot from doing it. I haven't washed it yet or obviously ironed it. But, you get the idea of the pretty much finished product just with a lot of wrinkles!
