This is from a kit that I found awhile back. I thought it would be good to learn some different techniques. The flower/grass are applique and then there is the double border.

The latest of my sewing projects. I needed some extra room for my growing collection of straight pins. It's actually very large - a couple of inches tall and also pretty wide.

Mother's Day Gift

So, Adam was in charge of the Mother's Day gifts for our ward this year. So, we decided to make these little boxes with a quote on them, ribbon around them, and some yummy chocolates inside.
